    These abstracts are almost devoid of colour, breaking down natural elements to their core, simplified to an almost silhouette shadow of their origin.  The Zen like brushstrokes suggest a sense of movement and stillness captured in time.  The brushes used for these artworks were made by hand by the artist, using natural fibres and rope, connecting the artist to nature and early primitive forms of mark-making and art.
