    There is an inordinate amount of hand work in the production of these mohair throws. Local rural women, usually the only bread winner in the family and with no other source of income due to the remoteness of their village, are employed in the weaving of the throws. By creating employment opportunities, we continue to contribute to poverty alleviation in South Africa.
