Woven Stool – Large

These stools are hand-woven from the fronds of the Ilala palm by rural crafts people who supply their products to a Trust, and who are being paid by the Trust for their work. In assisting rural crafts people to become sustainable and to develop their entrepreneurial skills the Trust continually provides product, quality and production management skills while the crafts people receive support and mentorship. The Trust's craft development approach centres on providing a service to geographically selected crafters living in the most remote of rural areas with access to the means of providing for their families.
